Australia and in association with the Golf
Queensland - Keperra Country Golf Clubs hosts the
72 hole international Keperra Bowl. This event is
the only national amateur selection trial held
each year in Queensland and
is a world accredited golf event …. sanctioned
by the R. & A. in Scotland
In three short years. the bowl is
now the premier golf event in the Brisbane metropolitan area
and it attracts a maximum field of 168 of the best
amateur golfers from Australasia and worldwide ..
all striving to represent their country and/or
accrue world amateur golf ranking points.
Each year, we believe our club has
succeeded in attaining its mission of providing
the best 72 hole amateur event in Australia
and this plays an integral role in assisting our
club in its continuing quest to foster the
development of golf
worldwide.
Of course, paramount to the success
of any major event is sponsorship and a myriad of
opportunities present for astute
companies/corporations who wish to be associated
with a local event that attracts national and
international exposure.
And, as part of this investment, it
will soon be evident that – as well as being a
very cost effective medium to promote business –
this sponsorship leads to many fun activities
associated with the bowl.

The cost of being a
sponsor of the Keperra Bowl commences at $1000
plus GST and rises to a major sponsorship package
.. with cost by negotiation.
A naming rights sponsor to
the event is also being
sought.
HOLE IN ONE SPONSORSHIP - Value
adding to members
Each year, around 15 “very
lucky members” of Keperra Country Golf Club are
rewarded for their years of patience, persistence
and determination on the golf course by having a
“hole in one” during competition
play.
This is one of the most
prized achievements in the game of golf yet - by
tradition and reward for effort - each “lucky
shooter” only receives a bottle of scotch from the
club.
It is now
proposed that a sponsor/s be sourced to “up value”
each reward for a hole in one with the
presentation of “an acceptable attractive prize
package” with a value of around $400. Losely
translated, this means that - every time a member
of KCGC steps on the tee of every par three during
competition play - he/she will be shooting for a
valuable prize if they “hole in
one”.
It is believed that - on
this scale - this proposal will be unique to
golf
in Queensland and,
as well as attracting media attention, will become
“ the focal talking point” for all members ..
during every member competition throughout whole
of the year.
