It is also pleasing to share that the new maintenance shed is fast nearing completion. \u00a0Importantly the building passed certification on Friday (28th<\/sup> Jan) and the team will take up residence over the next two weeks.\u00a0 Over this period, the temporary maintenance compound at the rear of the Clubhouse will be dismantled\u00a0and much of the car park returned to patron use. \u00a0The additional parking will be particularly welcomed by those who play in the mid-afternoon Saturday field who are often forced to do several laps of the car park before securing a park, if at all.<\/p>\n

It is anticipated that all works will be completed within the next 3-4 weeks, at which time an official opening will occur\u00a0and members will be invited to tour the site. \u00a0A compliant\u00a0and functional maintenance shed is an essential infrastructure item for a golf course\u00a0and the new shed definitely meets these requirements.\u00a0 The shed has been designed\u00a0and built with consideration to the future\u00a0and next-generation greenkeeping practices.\u00a0 With an all-up investment in the vicinity of $1.5m, this is a significant asset addition for the club\u00a0and its delivery would not have been possible without the incredible generosity of an individual member.<\/p>\n

In the coming weeks, dates for the site tour will be announced\u00a0and members are encouraged to come\u00a0and have a look at this impressive facility.<\/p>\n
