{"id":10362,"date":"2022-04-12T01:07:17","date_gmt":"2022-04-12T01:07:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/?p=10362"},"modified":"2023-06-20T16:41:16","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T06:41:16","slug":"kcgc-composite-course-wrap-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/2022\/04\/kcgc-composite-course-wrap-up\/","title":{"rendered":"KCGC Composite Course Wrap up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Another year and another Member rises to the occasion to claim the coveted tweed jacket after winning the Club\u2019s US Masters \/ Composite Course.\u00a0 Special mention to Club major Sponsor LAWN PRIDE AUSTRALIA for sponsoring the event \u2013 your ongoing support of the Club is appreciated.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/WALSH.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10363 size-medium aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/WALSH-240x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>With the exclusion of the 8<sup>th<\/sup> hole due to green repairs, the 6<sup>th<\/sup> hole was brought into the rotation.\u00a0 The composite course which includes 18 holes selected from the full course included many tees and pars never having been played by Members.\u00a0 These include the 15<sup>th<\/sup> as a par 3 from behind the pump station for the gents which includes a full water carry, the 11<sup>th<\/sup> as a par 4, the 26<sup>th<\/sup> hole played from the 24<sup>th<\/sup> tee and the 20<sup>th<\/sup> hole played from the 27<sup>th<\/sup> tee.\u00a0 It\u2019s certainly a challenge and this year the Club had a full field taking it on.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following a breakfast and watching Scheffler close out the Masters at Augusta, the group took to the Course and in the end it was Kade Walsh (pictured above) who came away with the win.\u00a0 Kade shot an impressive 43 points and held off Darren Stewart with 41 points.\u00a0 In the Ladies competition, Jeanette Giudice won with 37 points. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/LP-Stacked.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9517 size-medium aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/LP-Stacked-300x157.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"157\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Congratulations Kade<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another year and another Member rises to the occasion to claim the coveted tweed jacket after [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-10362","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
