{"id":11692,"date":"2022-07-21T06:48:18","date_gmt":"2022-07-21T06:48:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/?p=10729"},"modified":"2023-06-20T16:41:12","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T06:41:12","slug":"bunkers-pre-covid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/2022\/07\/bunkers-pre-covid\/","title":{"rendered":"Course Update \/ 8th hole\/ Bunkers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Course conditions should improve throughout the weekend, however, the rainfall over the past two days will result in carts being restricted to cart paths only, for Saturday 23<sup>rd<\/sup> July.\u00a0 Bunkers will be optional GUR, with one Card length preferred lie in the general area.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the greens on the 7<sup>th<\/sup> and 10<sup>th<\/sup> holes suffered some vandalism earlier this week, with basic repair works having been undertaken.<\/p>\n<p>In preparation for the 8<sup>th<\/sup> hole returning to play during next week, fencing has been added for player safety.\u00a0 Members are under no circumstances to enter the fenced off area! \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Club can announce that Bunkers will soon be returning to &#8220;play it as it lies&#8221; with <strong>COVID rules being removed, from Tuesday 26th July.<\/strong>\u00a0 As a reminder, please familiarise yourself with the below Course Maintenance information, specific to Bunkers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Smoothing Bunkers:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is important to leave bunkers in good condition for following players.\u00a0 Bunkers should be smoothed in the following manner:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter and leave the bunker from the lowest point.<\/li>\n<li>After playing, smooth the area and any footprints with rake.<\/li>\n<li><strong>After use, place the rake in the bunker in the direction of play.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Do not place the rake against the inside edge of the bunker as this may cause difficult lies for others and potentially awkward rules situations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>The below video demonstrates the required practice.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rbmRM8earmI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Course conditions should improve throughout the weekend, however, the rainfall over the past two days will [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[64],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-11692","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-course-updates"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
