{"id":12648,"date":"2023-02-03T16:44:02","date_gmt":"2023-02-03T06:44:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/?p=12648"},"modified":"2023-06-20T16:41:06","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T06:41:06","slug":"course-update-february-3rd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/2023\/02\/course-update-february-3rd\/","title":{"rendered":"Course Update February 3rd"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Summer has again proven to be the busiest time of the year for our Course and Maintenance team, and with recent weather conditions proving ideal for turf growth, much time has been spent on mowers.\u00a0\u00a0The re-surfacing of tee blocks 3 &amp; 11 is progressing well with strong coverage evident.\u00a0 The focus with these tees over the next period will be to strengthen the turf coverage and harden the surface to a level suitable for play.<\/p>\n<p>The 28th hole and practice fairway continues to progress well and the most recent inspection by the architect and project manager has the new green coverage at approximately 14 percent.\u00a0 It is anticipated by this time next month these greens will have had their first cut and will have been dusted.<\/p>\n<p>The renovations undertaken this week involved a low level of disturbance on all holes with the exception of the 8th.\u00a0 As a consequence of the damage the 8th hole incurred, there was a need for a more invasive renovation to this green which we expect most players will easily observe.\u00a0 Consequently the recovery period will be extended with this green.<\/p>\n<p>Repair works planned for the month of February, included the re-surfacing of the 2nd bridge, which was completed this week.\u00a0 As well as extensive turf replacement on the RHS of hole 10 and selective turf repairs to various tee blocks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summer has again proven to be the busiest time of the year for our Course and [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":34,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[64,65],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-12648","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-course-updates","category-club-news"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
