{"id":14718,"date":"2024-09-05T13:06:33","date_gmt":"2024-09-05T03:06:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/?p=14718"},"modified":"2024-09-05T13:06:33","modified_gmt":"2024-09-05T03:06:33","slug":"ladies-corner-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/2024\/09\/ladies-corner-11\/","title":{"rendered":"Ladies Corner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>August has been a huge month for the ladies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Open Day &#8211; August 27<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our second and final open day for 2024 was held this week.\u00a0 A foggy start became a beautiful warm day, so much better than the first Open Day which rained all day, causing deferral.<\/p>\n<p>We had a competitive field of 60 players including visitors from 5 other clubs &#8211; Carbrook, Indooroopilly, Maroochy River, Nudgee and Wantima.<\/p>\n<p>The winners of the Canadian Foursomes competition, by a whopping 7.75 strokes on 69.75 were Angela Gordon and Catrina Daly.\u00a0 Second, on a countback on 77.5 were \u00a0Pamela Lawrence and Pamela Couch (Wantima).<\/p>\n<p>A HUGE thanks to Tangalooma Island Resort for the prizes for the day.<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Ladies-1A.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-14719 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Ladies-1A-320x320.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Ladies-1B.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-14720 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Ladies-1B-320x320.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" \/><\/a>\n<p><strong>Matchplay Results<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Matchplay winners for 2024 were:<\/p>\n<p>A Grade &#8211; Chrissy Booth who defended her title<\/p>\n<p>B Grade &#8211; Kymmi Roberts<\/p>\n<p>C Grade &#8211; Debra White<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Ladies-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14721\" src=\"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Ladies-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"361\" height=\"307\" \/><\/a>\n<p><strong>Ladies Foursomes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What a glorious day August 11<sup>th<\/sup> was for the Ladies Foursomes. Congratulations to the nett winners, Ally Maguire and Karen Pisarek. And the gross winners with trophy Julie Lakotij and Mikayla Dyal.<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Ladies-3A.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14722\" src=\"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Ladies-3A.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"329\" height=\"438\" \/><\/a>\n<p><strong>August Monthly medals <\/strong>were won by:<\/p>\n<p>Weekend Savannah Rains won with a 39 pt score.
