{"id":15485,"date":"2025-04-01T15:52:09","date_gmt":"2025-04-01T05:52:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/?p=15485"},"modified":"2025-04-01T15:52:09","modified_gmt":"2025-04-01T05:52:09","slug":"club-championship-update-1-04-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/2025\/04\/club-championship-update-1-04-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Club Championship Update &#8211; 1\/04\/2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Members, with the persistent weather-related challenges we have faced over the past month, the decision has been made to reduce this year\u2019s Gents and Women\u2019s Championships to 54 Holes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All events will now be played as 54 Hole Events \u2013 This includes the Gents and Women\u2019s Club Champions (54 hole gross), if there is a tie, in the A,B, C Grade Gents and\/or Women\u2019s gross, there will be a playoff as determined by the Golf Operations Team<\/li>\n<li>The Junior, Senior &amp; Veteran (Gross} and all A,B, C Grade Gents and Women\u2019s Nett events will be decided over 54-holes. The Golf Australia Countback System (if required) will be used for all events, excluding the Gents and Women\u2019s Club Championship, and B &amp; C Grade (gross)<\/li>\n<li>All tee times for Round 2 will remain as published on the Website<\/li>\n<li>There will be a 36 hole cut, In the Gents A,B &amp; C Grade, a maximum of 36 players (gross scores) will progress to the final round. The Golf Australia Countback System (if required) will decide all ties.<\/li>\n<li>There will also be a 36 hole cut for the Women\u2019s Championship, with a maximum of 8 players (gross scores), progressing to the final round. The Golf Australia Countback System (if required) will decide all ties.<\/li>\n<li>The Final Round of the Championships is now scheduled for Sunday 6<sup>th<\/sup> of April. Those players that progress will play the North Course, with a 2 tee start commencing from approximately 6:30am.<\/li>\n<li>The draw for the Final Round (Sunday 6<sup>th<\/sup>) will be loaded onto the website timesheet by 7pm Saturday 5<sup>th<\/sup> of April. Players are responsible for reviewing the Sunday Timesheet to confirm whether they have made the cut, and if so their scheduled tee time. After the release of the timesheet, any players wishing to withdraw on the Sunday, are to contact Peter Zealley at <a href=\"mailto:peterz@keperragolf.com.au\">peterz@keperragolf.com.au<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The A,B &amp; C Grade Matchplay qualification will be determined over 54 holes, with the top 16 gross scores in each grade to qualify. . The Golf Australia Countback System (if required) will decide all ties.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The <\/strong><strong>Golf Operations Team always reserve the right to make alterations to player\u2019s times, draw &amp; championship conditions.
