Work has now commenced ahead of schedule on the 7th and 8th greens. Please note that this is a separate project from the retaining wall works. The 8th hole remains out of play, while the 7th hole has been shortened, with a temporary green now in use.<\/p>\n
This project involves the complete demolition and reconstruction of both greens, starting from the sub-base and including the relocation of irrigation mainlines. These are the initial stages of a comprehensive redevelopment. Members playing the Old or West Course over the weekend will notice that the sub-base has already been shaped on the 8th hole. Drainage installation is scheduled for next week.<\/p>\n
The Course and Maintenance team has now transitioned to the winter program, which includes garden upkeep, tree maintenance, and bunker improvements.<\/p>\n
We hope that the recent rainfall was the last for the foreseeable future. Although the course is gradually drying out, growth has started to slow, and certain areas will require careful management.
