We have received some excellent and well-constructed feedback, thank you to those members who have taken the time to review the documents and respond.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Club\u2019s Board would value as much feedback as possible and encourage members to share their thoughts on this most important of Club governance documents. Please provide the feedback to <\/strong><strong><a href=\"mailto:constitution@keperragolf.com.au\">constitution@keperragolf.com.au<\/a><\/strong><strong> by Friday 20<sup>th<\/sup> June.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>See below the previous correspondence, containing the relevant documents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>As part of our commitment to strong governance and the long-term success of Keperra Country Golf Club, we have undertaken a comprehensive review to modernise the Club\u2019s Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>The review aims to ensure the Constitution remains relevant, inclusive, and aligned with best practices while supporting the Club\u2019s future growth. Key areas reviewed include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modernising governance structures to reflect contemporary best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing the structure of annual subscription increases, including the suitability of CPI as the preferred index for adjustments.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing the subscription calculation for 5-day and 6-day membership categories.<\/li>\n<li>Extending voting rights to enhance inclusivity and representation among members.<\/li>\n<li>Increasing opportunities for members to actively participate in the governance of the Club.<\/li>\n<li>Improving and ensuring gender representation on future Boards to better reflect the diversity of our golfing community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The review was conducted with the support of Golf Australia\u00a0and the CPR Group, which\u00a0have successfully assisted several Queensland Golf Clubs with similar constitutional reviews and governance improvements.
