Pleasingly warm overnight temperatures have helped the Course steadily return to healthier overall conditions \u2014 a positive development as the Course and Maintenance Team prepare to commence the annual weed eradication program.<\/p>\n
Looking ahead, the Club\u2019s Major Annual Course Renovations<\/strong> are scheduled for the week commencing October 20<\/strong>. These works will be comprehensive and invasive, focusing on the removal of thatch and grain throughout key playing areas. Renovation tasks will include tees and fairways<\/strong>, with particular attention to holes 19\u201327<\/strong>. The practice fairway greens and tees<\/strong> will also undergo renovation during this period.<\/p>\n The 7th and 8th greens<\/strong> have now been sprigged with stolons. Grow mats have been installed to assist in establishing healthy turf. Please be aware that irrigation will run hourly<\/strong> to maintain optimal moisture levels for stolon development.<\/p>\n We\u2019re also pleased to report that construction of the new concrete pathway<\/strong> along the left-hand side of the 14th fairway<\/strong> is now complete. Fresh turf has been laid, and the grow-in phase is nearly finished.
