{"id":8388,"date":"2020-07-07T05:02:23","date_gmt":"2020-07-07T05:02:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/?p=8388"},"modified":"2023-06-20T16:41:35","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T06:41:35","slug":"match-information-july","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/2020\/07\/match-information-july\/","title":{"rendered":"Match Information July"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Self-Score Submission with the MiScore<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This new self-score submission functionality has the full support of Golf Australia during the COVID-19 period. &#8220;This functionality complies with all requirements of the Rules of Handicapping and the Rules of Golf as outlined by the R&amp;A and Golf Australia for the COVID-19 period. In addition, Golf Australia strongly supports the increased use of technology in the formal scoring process. We believe this is a significant advancement for the game of golf.&#8221; &#8211; Golf Australia<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>New self-score submission process <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This will be operational at Keperra for single events from Monday July 13<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/li>\n<li>Players can score and submit their own score once approved by their playing partner, verbally or by signature.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The MiScore app user will submit their own score; NOT their marker&#8217;s score as currently occurs.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Swapping cards or submitting your marker&#8217;s score by card or MiScore is no longer required.<\/li>\n<li>Players will continue to keep score of their playing partner (marker), as they already do, in order to confirm\/check their playing partner&#8217;s score.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Golf Australia \u2013 Covid-19 Local Rules to Remain <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Under the Industry COVID Safe Plan for Outdoor Team Sports, clubs &amp; facilities need to be aware that flagsticks, rakes, NTP markers and scorecards, fall into the definition of shared equipment. Shared equipment needs to be sanitised effectively after each use.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Golf Australia recommends that golf clubs &amp; facilities continue to apply the local rules within the Play Management guidelines that avoid the need to handle shared equipment.<\/p>\n<p>In stage 3 clubs &amp; facilities may;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>play in groups of four<\/li>\n<li>hold shotgun &amp; multi-tee starts<\/li>\n<li>have two people per cart<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Clubs &amp; facilities must ensure that;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>if available, bookings should be made online, via phone or via text message. There should be no \u2018roll-up play\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>scorecards, if in use, should be distributed and collected using PPE<\/li>\n<li>motorised carts, rental clubs, push buggy and sand bucket handles are sanitised before and after every use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Tuesday and Thursday Timesheets<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>As previously communicated Tuesday and Thursday Timesheets have become Medley Events (Ladies and Gents). A medley nine hole competition has also been introduced to both of these days. Tuesday\u2019s will see a block time for Ladies to book from 7.32am \u2013 9.16am, both Ladies and Gents will be able to book tee times outside of this block. The 9 Hole Medley Competition will have allocated tee times at 7:08am, 7:16am, 9am-9:16am which once again Ladies and Gents can book.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday timesheets will again have the same allocated nine hole tee times as Tuesday.
