{"id":8702,"date":"2020-11-18T03:16:57","date_gmt":"2020-11-18T03:16:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/?p=8702"},"modified":"2023-06-20T16:41:32","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T06:41:32","slug":"kcgc-special-olympics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.keperragolf.com.au\/cms\/2020\/11\/kcgc-special-olympics\/","title":{"rendered":"KCGC &#038; Special Olympics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some members may not be aware, however the Club has had a working relationship with Special Olympics Queensland for a number of years now.\u00a0 The Club recently hosted it\u2019s 2020 Golf Tournament which was well supported and a great success for both Organisations.\u00a0 Keperra is proud to be affiliated with the Special Olympics as it\u2019s QLD Golf Course of choice.\u00a0 Some great photos captured on the day including Keperra&#8217;s own Jarrod Mann who mentors KCGC Member Dylan Price (on Jarrod&#8217;s right in the below photo) a Special Olympics Champion.\u00a0 Well done to all who participated and were involved in the day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cOn behalf of Special Olympics Queensland Golf, please convey to your committee, members and staff our sincere appreciation for hosting the Special Olympics Brisbane club 2020 golf tournament. It is very much valued the generosity, friendliness and inclusiveness that Keperra Golf offers to our athletes.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>This year\u2019s tournament turned out to be a wonderful success, we had 29 players of varying degrees of ability all supported by volunteers and families.
