With maintenance activities over the past four days limited to mowing greens &amp; today&#8217;s competition (29<sup>th<\/sup> Dec) field exceeding 290 players, it has created some challenges &amp; impacted general course presentation.\u00a0 Furthermore bookings over the next 5 days are nearing capacity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The team will be working hard to get things back in order; however, general conditioning will be short of expectation for some days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With 126mm of rain since 3:00pm Christmas Eve and total rainfall for the past five weeks exceeding 535mm, the sustained wet weather conditions have adversely impacted several course areas. To give some magnitude to Nov\/Dec rainfall levels, total rainfall for the same periods in 2020, 2019, 2018 was 135mm, 85mm &amp; 75mm, respectively. Although more rain is always better than not enough, we are now well beyond what we would call extreme.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Further to last week&#8217;s update, scheduled maintenance for the next month includes remediating the weaker greens, eliminating weeds within all playing areas, restoring bunkers, inclusive of drainage on holes 7, 9 &amp; 18 &amp; concrete path repairs on hole 5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Kind regards,<\/p>\n<p>Course Maintenance<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is hoped that all enjoyed a safe and enjoyable Christmas period.
