Dear Members
We wish to advise that the Club will be reopening for play from 6 am tomorrow, (Monday 9th of August). Although Community Sport restrictions did form part of the Governments Covid relaxations announced this morning, we can confirm that the playing of Golf is an exclusion to this policy. This however does come with heightened conditions and it is imperative that we all adhere to these requirements.
- Golf is permitted as a form of exercise
- 4 players per group permissible
- Members must check-in via the Queensland Government ‘Check In Qld App’
- Standard Club and Social Play only
- Physical distancing must be maintained
- Heightened hygiene practices must be maintained
- Flags must remain in the hole at all times and the no rake local rule remains unchanged
- Masks must be worn outdoors if you are unable to more the 1.5m distance from other people
- Motorised Carts – 1 person per cart, unless members of the same household
- Patron density limits of one (1) per person per four (4) square meters indoors and one (1) person per two (2) square meters outdoors
- Masks must continue to be worn indoors, except for while seated and eating and drinking. Masks must also continue to be worn outdoors where physical distancing is not possible
- Practice facilities can be used on the basis that physical distancing requirements are met.
All timesheet bookings for the ensuing week will remain unchanged.
Any changes or variations to the above will become communicated when known.
Kind regards,
Club Administration
