As most members would be aware, the Board has commenced a process to review and update the Club’s Constitution. The current Constitution, last updated in 2014, has served the Club well; however, many elements now require revision to better reflect the governance needs of the Club, both now and into the future.
Recently, the Board shared a draft of the proposed changes, and we wish to thank the many members who took the time to provide feedback. The insights shared have been invaluable and have reinforced the importance of taking the time to thoroughly reflect on and evaluate the suggestions received.
Accordingly, the Board has decided to extend the review and consultation period for this project. We anticipate that a further period of member consultation will occur, with a revised version of the Constitution to be issued for consideration and, ultimately, decision in the early part of 2026.
We thank members for their ongoing interest and engagement in this important process.
