The Gents claimed a dominant 16- 5 win in round 4 of the BDGA Pennant Season on Sunday against Redcliffe at home.
The Opens secured a dominant 9.5–1.5 victory, the Juniors followed with an impressive 4.5–0.5 win, while the Masters fell just short with a 3–2 loss.
The team showed particularly strong performances in the Opens and Juniors divisions. A highlight of the weekend was the close 9/8 win in the Holam Law game. Fahim played his final game, finishing on a high note with a perfect 4/4 record. Among the standout Junior performances were Jensen Williamson with a 7/6 win, Jaxon Smith with a 6/4 result, Alfie Ward securing a 7/6 win, and Fahim closing his final match with a 6/4 victory.

KCGC has secured its second win of the BDGA Gents Division 2 Pennant Season after a dominant display over Wynnum on the weekend, with victories across all divisions and an impressive overall score of 17–4.
The standout performance came in the open category, where KCGC’s number one player and Gents Club Champion, Wes Hinton, delivered a commanding 6&4 win. The Open team continued their strong form with a 9–2 margin. In the Masters Division, KCGC edged out a 3–2 win, highlighted by Anthony Baker’s emphatic 8&7 victory. The Juniors completed the clean sweep with a 5–0 result, including standout performances from Cooper Field (5&4) and Daniel Gould (6&5).
KCGC will now travel to Virginia GC for their second away game of the season. A win there would further strengthen the club’s position and make them a tough team to catch.
