KCGC Associate Adam Jansz secured an impressive victory at the Hambros Associate Pro-Am, held at Pacific Golf Club on Monday, edging out the 38-player field with a composed round of 2-under 70. Despite hitting only 9 greens in regulation, Jansz’s short game proved to be the difference against his competition. His scrambling ability and deft touch around the greens kept him in contention throughout the day, needing just 25 putts to navigate the course. With limited birdie chances, Jansz made the most of every opportunity, combining mental toughness with precision on the greens. His efforts earned him a tie for first place, finishing one shot clear of the nearest chasers.
Fellow KCGC associates Jordan Rooke finished T-7 at +2 (74), while Jack Jones placed 20th with a +5 (77).
