Over the coming months, Golf Australia will undertake a major digital transformation, transitioning from the existing 25-year-old GOLF Link platform to the new Golf Australia CONNECT system.
Golf Australia has developed the new handicap and club management solutions in partnership with DotGolf, a golf technology company owned by The R&A and Golf New Zealand. DotGolf has significant experience in providing golf technology services, including handicapping management, to golfers and golf clubs in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and New Zealand.
Why the Change?
- The GOLF Link platform is outdated and no longer meets the technological needs of today’s golfers and clubs.
- The way golfers interact with technology has evolved significantly over the past 25 years.
- CONNECT offers enhanced data security, aligning with modern policy and compliance standards.
- The new platform will support ongoing improvements to software and services offered to clubs, facilities, and golfers.
Benefits for Golfers and Clubs
- Enhanced privacy and data security, with compliance to modern regulations.
- Integration into a globally supported handicapping system used by leading golf organisations.
- Improved access to technical support & Greater flexibility to support future upgrades and functionality.
