Chris McCourt
Teaching Professional, Keperra Country Golf Club
Chris has been a PGA professional for 30 years.
He started off here as a junior member of Keperra country golf club and completed his apprenticeship with world renowned golf coach Ian Triggs.
Chris was a successful tour player and has an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the game from physical to mental. He has been successfully coaching players from juniors right through to tour players, and this year winning the 2022 QLD junior program of the year, he has a very simple approach to coaching, working with you on your technique and how to play golf using visualisation and course management skills to improve your scores .
Chris also has a reputation in the golf industry as one of the leading club fitters/builders and can do everything from lie/loft fitting a adjustment, shaft frequency testing, swing weight matching, golf shaft spine aligning and much more.

Virginia Irwin

With over 20 years experience in the golf industry, Virginia, a member of the Australian PGA (Advanced in Coaching & Game Development) and a member of Golf Australia’s High Performance and Development Teams, Virginia has a holistic approach to golf instruction, with a focus on the transference of skill development to ensure on course results. Virginia is passionate about and has a proven track record in coaching and developing athletes at all levels.

Jake Newbery is a highly respected PGA Professional at Keperra Country Golf Club, recognised nationally for his leadership in player development and junior golf programs. With a passion for coaching and a proven track record of excellence, Jake works with golfers of all ages and abilities to help them improve performance, build confidence, and develop a lifelong enjoyment of the game.
Jake’s coaching philosophy is built on simplicity, clarity, and individualisation. He believes there is no single model for success in golf, and each player’s coaching journey should reflect their physical capabilities, personal goals, and learning style.
