Golf Australia CONNECT

Golf Australia CONNECT

Over the coming months, Golf Australia will undertake a major digital transformation, transitioning from the existing 25-year-old GOLF Link platform to the new Golf Australia CONNECT system.

Golf Australia has developed the new handicap and club management solutions in partnership with DotGolf, a golf technology company owned by The R&A and Golf New Zealand. DotGolf has significant experience in providing golf technology services, including handicapping management, to golfers and golf clubs in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and New Zealand.

Why the Change?

  • The GOLF Link platform is outdated and no longer meets the technological needs of today’s golfers and clubs.
  • The way golfers interact with technology has evolved significantly over the past 25 years.
  • CONNECT offers enhanced data security, aligning with modern policy and compliance standards.
  • The new platform will support ongoing improvements to software and services offered to clubs, facilities, and golfers.

Benefits for Golfers and Clubs

  • Enhanced privacy and data security, with compliance to modern regulations.
  • Integration into a globally supported handicapping system used by leading golf organisations.

Course Update

Course Update

Please be advised that this week marks a busy period for course maintenance and improvement works.

Repairs to damaged pathways associated with the construction of the 8th retaining wall have commenced and are expected to continue over the next four weeks. These works are the responsibility of the retaining wall contractor.

Favourable weather conditions have also allowed the Club to resume works on Hole 14, including the completion of the concrete path, which is currently planned to finish near the fairway bunker.

In addition, drainage, irrigation, and turf repairs are scheduled over the coming month. Repairs to recent weather-related damage in the gully short of the 22nd green are also programmed for this week.

While these activities have been considered in course rotations, there may be some minor disruptions. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Annual Membership Subscriptions

Annual Membership Subscriptions

As the Club approaches its annual subscription renewal period, management is pleased to report that the Club’s financial operations remain stable, despite the extended periods of adverse weather experienced this year. Annual subscriptions for the ensuing year will increase by 2.7%, reflecting Brisbane’s Consumer Price Index (CPI- March).  With several major capital improvement projects in progress, it is truly an exciting time for the Club.

The sustained popularity of golf, evident in the high demand for tee times, has continued to contribute positively to the Club’s financial position. Since January, a waitlist has been in place for 7-Day Memberships, and restrictions have been imposed on most membership categories, underscoring the strong interest in belonging to our Club.  As renewals are scheduled to be emailed in early August, members who do not intend to renew are kindly asked to notify the Club by emailing admin@keperragolf.com.au
