Members are reminded that course will be closed this coming Monday 30/1 and Tuesday 31/1, to allow programmed green renovations and scheduled maintenance to occur. The Club Bar and Kitchen will also remain closed.

The Ladies Committee would like to invite you to a Welcome Morning Tea on Thursday February 2nd at 10:30 am in the Club Function Room, Dress – smart casual. It will be a High Tea including a Mimosa or Glass of wine or coffee on arrival at $20 pp. If you would like to participate, bring along your change to win a raffle prize. All bookings need to be confirmed by 4pm on January 27th
Virginia Irwin Club PGA professional will be our guest speaker with Q & A at the end.

The Greens keeping staff have been kept busy of late staying on top of the accelerated growth of the grass in general. There will be grooming, programmed spraying followed by light dusting over the coming weeks.

Congratulations to KCGC Junior Mikayla Dyal for winning at the JNJG in Act on Friday. Mikayla ground out a +15 over 4 rounds to get the job done in the 14/15 year old division at the Gold Creek Golf Club. Well done Mikayla.

Following significant, localised rain, below is the current state of the course as at 5pm Friday. Every effort will be made in the morning to ensure the course is as playable as possible for Saturday’s Competition. There will likely be updated local rules in effect from Saturday.
