Course Update Thursday – 19/5

Course Update Thursday – 19/5

A delayed course inspection was held this afternoon to give the Course the best chance to dry out given the sunny conditions.  Unfortunately, while the sun was out there was minimal wind and the course remains unplayable.  Not only is there significant water still on fairways, access to the course remains unsafe, including for heavy machinery.

A further inspection of the course will be carried out tomorrow and communicated accordingly.

The putting green and warm up nets are open for use, as is the Driving Range.  The driving range however will close at 3pm for the Club Juniors.

Nell Harvey Memorial Final

This years final was set to be played by Kirsty James and her partner Kathy Madden against Jennie Gribble and her partner Rhonda Salmond.

However this match was unable to proceed with Kathy the victim of an unfortunate accident and no longer being able to participate.

This in turn led to Jennie and Rhonda being declared the winners of the Nell Harvey Memorial for 2022. Both ladies have expressed their disappointment in not being able to play the Final as it was scheduled, and humbly accepted the victory, whilst wishing Kathy a speedy recovery.
