Clubhouse Open over Weekend

The Club is pleased to advise that the Clubhouse will be open over the weekend from 11am until 4pm.  With a few NRL and AFL games taking place, it represents a great opportunity to come for a chip and a putt (Chipping and Putting Green will be open) before grabbing a drink and a bite to eat.   Thanks to XXXX Gold for coming to our support, we will be running a $20 Cheeseburger and chips with a Schooner of XXXX Gold special all weekend.

Course Closure Update

It has been deemed necessary for the Course to remain closed over the weekend, inclusive of Monday.  A reminder the Club is holding a working bee tomorrow, and all members wishing to assist in the recovery can do so by booking into the ‘timesheet labelled working be via the Member booking portal.

Club Championships – Revised Information

Please refer below for revised Club Championship Format & Information for both Women and Men.

Women’s Championships

The Club Championships (Women) – In consultation with the Ladies Committee, an opportunity to play the women’s Championships over 72 holes has been decided.  The initial event was to be delivered in a 72 hole format but reverted to 54 holes due to a conflict with a weekend pennant fixture. The revised Club Championships Conditions for this event can be viewed by clicking here.  All participants are expected to have read this document   New dates below:

• Round 1 (Sat March 22^nd)
• Round 2 (Sat March 29^th)
• Round 3 (Sat April 5^th)
• Round 4 (Sun April 6^th)

*Reserved date: Saturday 12^th of April

*The Golf Operations Team at all times reserve the right to make alterations to player’s times, draw & championship conditions (alterations /changes of this type will be communicated via the Club’s Website).  

Men’s Championships

The Club Championships (Men) – New dates below:

• Round 1 (Sat March 22^nd)
• Round 2 (Sat March 29^th)
• Round 3 (Sat April 5^th) – (Top 48, AM & PM players to remain in their respective field)
• Round 4 (Sun April 6^th) – (Top 24 players in each grade, play will commence @ approx. 7:00am)

*Reserved date: Saturday 12^th of April

*In the event of a tie in the Junior, Senior, Veterans Gross events, the result will be determined over 18 holes on Sunday April 6^th, in conjunction with the Final Round.

*The Golf Operations Team at all times reserve the right to make alterations to player’s times, draw & championship conditions (alterations /changes of this type will be communicated via the Club’s Website).  Please note original Terms and Conditions for this event remain unchanged, with the exception of date updates.

Any players currently nominated for either Championship who wish to withdraw, please email Peter Zealley prior to 5pm Wednesday March 19^th via peterz@keperragolf.com.au.

Any players who were not in the Championships field who now wish to nominate can do so also by emailing Peter (prior to 5pm Wednesday March 19^th) via peterz@keperragolf.com.au.   When doing so, please also provide your preference for an AM or PM tee time (subject to availability).

The Timesheet for day players for Saturday 22^nd March will be released at 3pm on Thursday March 20^th.  Timesheet for day players for Saturday 29th March will be released at 3pm on Monday March 24^th.

Volunteer Working Bee – March 14th

The Club will be holding a Volunteer working bee on Friday (14^th) between 8am to 11am.  Members wishing to assist can book in via the Member website/Booking Portal and head to Friday the 14^th to confirm your attendance.  This will assist the Club in providing up to date information to those attending. Members are asked to congregate at the Golf Shop at 7:50am in readiness for an 8am start. Members attending are asked to bring the following items (if possible):

• Gloves
• Grass rake
• Water
• Sun Protection / Sunscreen
• Hat

A light morning tea will be provided from 11am.
