Board & AGM Information

Members are reminded that the Club’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 24th at 6:00pm.   A notice of meeting has been issued, inclusive of a ballot paper to all eligible voting members.  Please note that all members are welcome to attend this meeting. We would love to see as many members as possible attend the AGM.

Nominations for the 2021/2022 board have now closed. We received 3 nominations for the 3 vacant board positions and accordingly those nominating are elected to the Board without a ballot. I am pleased to confirm that the following roles have been filled unopposed and my congratulations to those continuing Directors and welcome Darryl Hine and Matthew Dowling to the Board:

Voting will be required for the vacant President role and your completed ballot papers can be returned by post or deposited in the Ballot Box located in the Club Bar prior to 5pm, November 22nd.

Special Olympics acknowledges KCGC

During October KCGC was thrilled to receive a certificate of appreciation and medal for its support of the Special Olympics QLD Golf Division.  The Club is the base for the Special Olympics QLD Golf Division and regularly hosts golf days on Saturday afternoons as well as the State Championships earlier in the year.  The Club looks forward to continuing the partnership with Special Olympics well into the future.

Titleist Summer Promotion

Upon purchasing a dozen Titleist Golf Balls, Members will have the chance of winning a Tag Heuer Connected Golf Watch valued at $3,700 RRP. There has been 10 of these watches allocated to be given away to the lucky winners, with the prize draw taking place on the 22nd of December.

Golfers who purchase a dozen Titleist Golf Balls during the promotional period will be able to enter the promotion through a QR Code which they will receive via the Golf Shop Staff.

Harcourts joins Keperra as Sponsor – Hills Echo Article

Northern suburbs real estate specialists, Whitehead & Crump from Harcourts Solutions, are the latest business to sign on with the Keperra Country Golf Club.

Simon Whitehead and Drew Crump, who between them have more than three decades of real estate experience and long-term connections with the Hills community, have been welcomed as a Major Club sponsor.

“We had been looking for an opportunity to sponsor something in the community for quite a while,” Drew Crump said. “Simon and I live in the district and we’ve both got great memories associated with the Keperra golf course, so the choice was a bit of a no-brainer.

“I grew up in the Hills near the course and Simon, from the age of 17, worked in real estate with his dad whose business was in Arana Hills and who has been a member of the Keperra Golf Club for a long time.

“This new partnership is something that really excites us. The Club has a lot of fantastic programs for juniors and there are many great pathways that lead off golf.

“Golf is also such a great game to play for your health and to unwind. Simon and I try to get out on the course once a month on a Friday afternoon or early morning for a hit and we’re looking forward to becoming more involved in the Club through our sponsorship.”

Whitehead & Crump is one of 14 businesses to partner with the Keperra Golf Club in response to its 2021 drive to connect with and support local enterprises.

Club General Manager Gavin Lawrence said the success of the sponsorship project was a great achievement which reflected both the value the community places on the game of golf and the professional regard held for the Club.

“We have been buoyed by the overwhelming interest we received from both existing and new sponsors to partnership opportunities,” he said.

“Whitehead & Crump round out our line-up perfectly and we’re excited to get busy in supporting them. 

“Simon and Drew have always had some involvement at Keperra and we’re delighted to cement that relationship with this new partnership.”
