Gents Nett Matchplay Final

Saturday saw the final of the Gents Nett Matchplay, this year saw Jeff Galle and Neil Lorrigan going head to head to determine our Champion. Both players had progressed through to the Final fairly comfortably, with the exception of Jeff’s narrow 1up victory in the semi-final. The final match was a tightly contested affair,  but eventually Jeff came out on top with a 2 & 1 victory.

Mixed Foursomes Championship

Congratulations to the Club’s 2020 Mixed Foursomes Champions Ally Maguire and Matt Simmons who shot 83 Gross.  Nett Winners were Club Captains Rod Rhodes and Michele Casey with 69 Nett.  For full results, please click here to view.

Green Keepers – right of way

A reminder to members, all Green Keepers have right of way at all times while preparing the course.  No Golfer should intentionally hit in the direction of a Green Keeper until they are given some form of signal (a wave) and/or the Green Keeper moves out of the way.  A member of Club’s Course maintenance team was struck by a ball last week and the Club would appreciate members cooperation in future.
