QLD Golf Industry Award Winners
We are delighted to share that the Club has again enjoyed great success at the QLD Golf Industry Annual Awards held earlier this week.
The Club had three finalists in the following categories:-
Volunteer of the Year – Leo Scott
Golf Club Staff Member of the Year – Michael Dash
Board Member of the Year – Rod Rhodes
All three were incredibly worthy nominees reflecting their hard work and dedication to KCGC. We are pleased to announce that both Leo & Michael were successful in their respective categories.

Ladies COVID Inter-club Competition
In an effort to build some comradery, the B&DLGA have created a COVID-19 inter-club team event. This has all been done reasonably quickly and will start tomorrow with Keperra entering teams in division 1 & 2. The Club will take the best 7 scores of each division each week from the players participating in the weekly Tuesday competition. Each week Keperra will have an opposing Club and on a weekly basis score sheets will be submitted and tabled against the results of the opposing Club to determine the winner of the day.
There is a 7 week draw against other teams who play on Tuesday. Division 1 is below GA 16.0 and Division 2 is above GA 16.1. Adjustments will be made to bring enough players into Division 1 if we do not have enough players on the day.

We will post the results each week, the winner of the competition receives a B&DLGA flag. Tomorrow 30th June Division 1 will be playing Redland Bay & Division 2 will be playing Sandgate.

This is a tournament to keep us connected, where we do not have to travel but get to play against other clubs, with all members being able to join in. Good luck to the Ladies in the Final of the Matchplay Championships tomorrow.
