2026 Keperra Bowl

2026 Keperra Bowl

2026 will mark the second year in which the Keperra Bowl is played in March. Last year’s event attracted an exceptionally strong field, with a deeper talent pool competing in the WAGR and Golf Australia–sanctioned event.

Members may recognise names such as Justice Bosio, Elvis Smylie, Billy Dowling, Anthony Quayle, Daniel Gale, and last year’s winners, Chase Oberle and Molly McLean — all of whom have claimed victory at the Keperra Bowl and gone on to achieve greater success on both the national and international golfing circuits.

As always, the Club is seeking volunteers to help with the smooth running of the event. Members who are interested in contributing their time for a day or two are encouraged to email the Club at admin@keperragolf.com.au, specifying their preferred dates.

For those members unfamiliar with The Bowl, it provides the club with an excellent opportunity to showcase the course, the overall facilities of the club and importantly the welcoming culture that Keperra possesses. The Board would like to thank all members for their support of the tournament and the facility access sacrifices that are made throughout the 5 days of the event.

Play will still be available over 9 holes for the full duration of the event. All Clubhouse access and general member services will remain unchanged throughout the week of the tournament.

The Club has also receives requests for billeting from players participating in the Championships.  Any members willing and prepared to assist with Billeting (which is very much appreciated) is encouraged to contact the Club via admin@keperragolf.com.au

KCGC’s Christmas Message

KCGC’s Christmas Message

Dear Members,

On behalf of the Board of Keperra Country Golf Club and myself, I would like to take this opportunity to wish every member and your families a very Merry Christmas and a safe, enjoyable, and prosperous New Year.

2025 has certainly been a year of significant change at our Club. We are incredibly grateful for the patience and understanding of the Membership, as the lower-level upgrade project and the green works on holes 7 and 8, without doubt, caused inconvenience and at times frustration as works progressed. The fact that the Club continued to operate smoothly throughout this period is a testament to the adaptability of our Staff and the flexibility of our Members.

We sincerely thank you all.

As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited for another successful year at the Club. With these important projects nearing completion, we look forward to welcoming you into your new Clubhouse and returning holes 1–9 to an uninterrupted state, ultimately providing an enhanced golfing experience for all Members. We will continue to keep you updated on our progress throughout the year and, in the meantime, hope you enjoy everything Keperra has to offer each and every day.

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and New Year period, and I look forward to seeing you around the Club in 2026.

Doug Tester

Club President

Lower Level Clubhouse Works – Access & Safety Update

Lower Level Clubhouse Works – Access & Safety Update

This afternoon, Quadric, the construction company managing the Lower-Level Clubhouse upgrade, will commence scaling back on-site operations.

As a result, a small number of car parks will be progressively returned to the Club on the western side of the main car park, closest to the 1st and 10th tee block.

In addition, the following pedestrian access routes will reopen:

  • The main thoroughfare from the car park to the concourse, along the southern side of the clubhouse.
  • The pathway on the left-hand side of the practice nets leading towards the putting green

Work over the past few weeks has been particularly intensive, and while every effort was made to complete the clubhouse handover before Christmas, weather conditions and several unavoidable interruptions have made this unachievable.

With much of the building industry now entering its Christmas shutdown period, we anticipate opening the Lower Level of the Clubhouse closer to the end of January.

Members who have recently been in the clubhouse may have noticed the photo slide show running, highlighting recent work.  It also provides a glimpse of some of the exciting new spaces being delivered as part of the project.

Car Park, Pedestrian & Golf Cart Safety

As conditions within the car park continue to change, members are asked to take extra care, remain alert, and be particularly mindful of pedestrians at all times.

Golf carts taken into the car park must be operated safely and responsibly. Entry and exit to the car park remain via the southern end, adjacent to the buggy sheds.

At no time are golf carts to be driven along the sides of the clubhouse, which has long been an established operational and safety requirement.

Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we move closer to completion.
