It’s been a busy month for our juniors with Kina Sowah, Charlie Armstrong, Ellie and Miller Stokes representing Keperra at the Kids Kirkwood Cup held at Royal Queensland in conjunction with the final round of the Australian PGA Championship. The team acquitted themselves well in the 2 Person Ambrose format over the 5 hole short course, before heading out on course to watch the professionals play.

Members are reminded to always check in at the Golf Shop prior to teeing off. Trading hours for the golf course will continue to be adjusted during the warmer months. As a general rule, the gates will be locked according to directives from Golf Shop staff.

The act of giving a playing partner a putt—commonly referred to as a “gimme” is a breach of the Rules of Golf. In competition play, this behaviour cannot be condoned under any circumstances.
The Club reminds all members that every ball must be holed in accordance with the Rules, and strongly encourages players to cease this practice during competition rounds.
