Snapshot Correction: Annual Subscriptions

Correction from August Snapshot: The Club is now in the process of sending Members their Annual subscriptions.

If you have not received your Membership Subscription by Thursday August 10th – please contact the Club via email at admin@keperragolf.com.au.  A reminder will be sent a fortnight before the end of August, and any members un-financial as at September 1st will have their booking rights suspended until payment is made.  If you do not intend to renew, the Club would please ask that a courtesy email be sent to admin@keperragolf.com.au as there is a seeded allocation/wait list for all Provisional Members coming into the Club based on resignations.

Pay As You Golf has generously put forward a $150 house credit as a prize for any member, of any category, who pays their Membership fees before the due date (COB 31st of August). The financial member will be selected at random and notified on September 1^st.

Wes Hinton earns Cameron Smith Scholarship

Congratulations to Club Champion Wes Hinton (below right) who overnight was selected along with Kayun Mudadana for the 2024 Cameron Smith Scholarship.  The pair will spend time with Smith at home in Jacksonville, Florida before travelling with him to attend the LIV Golf individual championship in Chicago this September.  Click here to view the Golf Australia Article.  On behalf of the Club, we wish to congratulate Wes along with long-term Coach Chris McCourt who has been with Wes since joining the Club in 2017.

Gents Pennants Season

The BDGA Gents Pennant 2nd round was completed over the weekend at Brisbane GC, with the home team proving too strong.  With an overall Team score of Brisbane 14.5 – 6.5.  Masters 2.5 / 2.5 – Junior 1 / 4 –  Opens 3 / 8.  The third round will be played on Sunday the 28th away at Royal Queensland GC, with play commencing at 7am.  As always members support is always welcomed.

Congratulations to the Team for getting their opening match in the books with a solid win over Indooroopilly Golf Club.  The opening game was played in ideal conditions, albeit fresh (Pictures below kindly provided by Member Glyn Thomas).  The Team will now head to Brisbane Golf Club on Sunday to take on the reigning Champions, which will be all the more challenging given it’s at home for BGC.  As always the Players appreciate the support from the members who come and watch.  The matches on Sunday will kick off at 7am.
