Wes wins at Grant Field Junior Classic

Congratulations to our own Wesley Hinton for winning this year’s boys division of the Grant Field Junior Classic held on the Sunshine Coast. Wes put together 3 stellar rounds to finish at -14 and hold off some fast finishers around him. Wes now gains an official World Amateur Golf Ranking! Special mention to fellow KCGC Member Caitlin Vanderkruk who also finished in 5th position overall in the girls’ divisions (also winning the Nett in the Girls 17 years). While Jackson Grady also won the Nett in the Boys 17 years category. Well done Team Keperra

Current Course Conditions

Dear Members,
We hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas break, New Year & look forward to welcoming you back to the Club. The past few weeks have been busy, with many choosing to celebrate the festive season with a round of golf & a cold drink. It also proved to be a typical Brisbane summer with multiple storms and rainfall exceeding 205.8ml from Christmas Eve through to today.
The wet conditions, coupled with public holidays & plenty of players enjoying the course, have caused significant disruptions to course maintenance activities, with the most notable being the presentation of bunkers. The Course team are confident that with a little luck from mother nature, standards will be returned within the coming week.
The 2024 fixture book is now online, and we encourage members to review the major events calendar. We have an exciting year of golf ahead, with the first major events being the Women’s Open Day on February 1st and the Gent’s R.H. Cottam Memorial on January 27th.
