Course Reopening Sunday -Update Saturday 17th Feb 12 noon
The course team have put in a great effort this morning, allowing the course to benefit from some sunshine this afternoon. A decision has been made to reopen the course tomorrow, with some cart and local rule restrictions.
- Carts will be strictly cart-paths only.
- It will be one club length preferred-lie in the general area.
- All bunkers will be optional GUR.
If you do not intend to play, please remove your name from the timesheet to allow fellow members an opportunity.
There are now some limited social play opportunities available tomorrow morning, Sunday 18th Feb.

Course Update Saturday 17th Feb – 7am
An initial course assessment has been completed, with all available course staff called in to assist with the clean-up/reinstatement.
Pleasingly, the water levels did not reach the heights of two weeks ago, resulting in less debris and river sand/gravel/mud deposits on fairways. However, the water levels remained high for a lot longer this time leaving the course waterlogged, with low lying areas needing time to dry out.
The focus this morning will be:
- Clearing debris from bridges and reinstating railings.
- Clearing and mowing greens and tees.
- Removing debris from green surrounds.
- Clearing debris, mud and river deposits from fairways. The power broom will be used on holes 5, 7 & 18 allowing the fairways maximum opportunity to dry out and prevent the turf from suffering long term damage.
- Cart paths cleared to allow play to resume asap.
- Safety and hazard checks.
A further update will be provided early this afternoon.

Club Closed – Friday & Saturday
The Course has received more than 120mm at the time of publishing this communication. Much of the course has been flooded (image below) and presently access is limited. Once the water levels reside a full assessment will be completed, and more information will be shared.
The Club (inclusive of Course, Practice Facilities and Club Bar) will remain closed tomorrow Saturday (17/2) with a decision on Sunday to be completed early afternoon Saturday.
Members are reminded to consult the club website for the most up to date Course Conditions.

COURSE CLOSED 16/2/2024
Due to nearly 80 mm of rain since midnight, unfortunately the course will be closed for Friday the 16th February. An update will be provided later in the day regarding the weekends competitions.
