MiSCORE APP – Covid Rules Removal

Golf Australia have today advised the removal of COVID19 Rules to conclude by the end of April 2023. This will affect clubs currently using the self-score submission method. 

To comply with these requirements the MiScore App will be amended to have the player’s marker record the scores and submit at conclusion. This will include capturing both player and markers signatures prior to score submission.

Once implemented, for a pairing whom both players score via the app they will record each other’s score, sign and submit.  In the circumstance of a pairing whereby only one player is using the app, the app user will need to source a physical scorecard to provide to their marker.

The main change for members is that you will no longer be submitting your own score, you will be submitting the score for your playing partner, as such the cross reference and submission process is vital. 

MiClub will action this change to the MiScore App between 24th and 28th April,

Bookings & Closing Time

With daylight now dictating our first tee times, it is critical that all members make advance bookings as first light will be the first tee time for the coming months.  Trading hours for the golf course will soon been modified for the Winter months, with the golf course available for play up until 5:45pm.  As a general rule, the gates will be locked at 5:55pm.

March Ladies News

March was designated Women and Girls in Golf month by Golf Australia and Keperra’s ladies were busy during the month.

Open Day:  One of the two annual ladies Open Days was held on Tuesday 28 March, and a successful day it was too.  There were 82 attendees, with 9 clubs (other than Keperra) represented.  The format was a 4BBB Stableford.  Results were:

• Winners – Chrissy Booth and Kirsty James
• Runners-up – Roslyn Mumford and Jen Park
• 3^rd place – Bonita Tyler and Lee Mathieson
• Nearest the Pin (hole 4) – Monique Malheivo
• Nearest the Pin (hole 6) – Suzanne Balmer

A big thank-you to our sponsors, Tangalooma Island Resort, who provided the main prizes to our three very happy place getters.  Also thank-you to our hospitality staff, who served a lovely lunch, and the pro-shop for their help in setting up a successful day.

March Monthly Medals:  Winners of the March Monthly Medals were:

Captain’s 4BBB:  Congratulations to Michele Casey and Chrissy Booth for winning the Captain’s 4BBB stroke final.  Well done to runners up ladies Vi Hall and Fay Gayler.
